IMPORTANT THINGS FOR CHOOSING YOUR LEVEL OF FILM:
Our Film Levels/prices are differentiated partly by the coverage on the day. In terms of coverage, we prefer to work with "key moments" rather than hours, as this offers greater flexibility and less clock watching! However please note the overall start/finish times for the levels should not exceed the following number of hours:
Level 1 - 6 hours
e.g. Start: 12pm - Bride and groom preparations
Finish: 6pm - Reception arrivals
Level 2 - 9 hours
e.g. Start: 12pm - Bride and groom preparations
Finish: 9pm - Bridal dance / speeches / cake cutting (which ever is later)
Level 3 - 12 hours
e.g. Start: 12pm - Bride and groom preparations
Finish: 12pm - End of reception
A maximum of 1 x additional hour may be added to each Level at a rate of $150 per filmmaker. For flexibility, this can be added to the balance at any stage, except on the day.
If the hours involved with your running schedule are less than the above, that is of course fine, but it will not reduce the price. This is because the same amount of total footage will be captured and the final edits you receive remain the same length. This means that the time our filmmakers spend in post-production (the editing stage where the most hours are invested) does not change.
The other major difference between Level 1 Film, and Level 2 & 3 Film, is the issue of one vs two filmmakers. Our Level 2 & 3 Film includes two professional filmmakers on the day which makes the setting up of film equipment quicker and easier - particularly at the reception. Two filmmakers also enables multiple angles of the one moment which makes for a highly professional and cinematic edit.
Please note, one professional filmmaker can cover Level 1 with ease and still produce a fantastic product. However if you wish to add a second filmmaker to Level 1, this can be arranged for an additional $500.
The Guest Messages are fun snippets of some friends and family offering their congratulations. These are captured during the later stages of the reception, often in and around the dance floor. The audibility of the messages can vary depending on the volume of the band/DJ...and the inebriation levels of the guests at hand (the latter of which The White Tree takes no responsibility!).
